Graduate Development Programme

ETC Ltd. operates a successful and established Graduate Development Programme for promising and talented UK graduates. Our Graduate Development Programme is accredited with both the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the Institution of Engineering & technology (IET).

What you can expect

On the ETC Graduate Development Programme you will receive:

  • 2 years of structured training to support the development of the critical skills and competencies to become a Chartered Engineer
  • The potential opportunity of a further 2 years in a specified role
  • A deep grounding in all aspects of the technology solutions which ETC designs, builds, deploys and supports
  • Involvement in a wide range of roles and functions in Year 1
  • Travel to ETC’s European sites in Year 2 to work collaboratively in international teams
  • A dedicated mentor to help you develop, plus coaching support every step of the way
  • Continual training throughout the programme

You will

  • Be in your final year of degree or Masters study in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic, Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • Be planning to become a Chartered Engineer
  • Be well organised, ambitious and motivated
  • Possess strong teamwork skills and problem-solving skills
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication
  • Be flexible and open to future development opportunities abroad
  • Have strong IT literacy in Microsoft packages, as well as standard engineering software
  • Language skills in Dutch, German or French would be an advantage.
